Two Old Naga Headhunter/Transport Baskets: 1) a small, very old, Konyak Naga finely woven cane headhunter's basket in fair condition with some damage on the top edge and on the bottom and without a strap - one excellent rodent skull, two pairs of chicken feet, a small boars' tusks and two animal tails - early 1900's - 7.5" (19 cm) high x 11" (28 cm) wide. 2) Old Naga Khiamungan Tribe Cane Basket - beautiful, old, smoky basket woven by the tribe responsible for trading to many of the other Naga tribes the finest cane baskets and hats - this one for carrying wood and bamboo, with an extremely worn, tightly woven strap, possibly not the original, attached - 20" x 14" (51 x 36 cm) at the top, 4" (10 cm) at the square, bamboo reinforced bottom - excellent condition.
