Description
Two early to mid 19th century gold memorial rings. To include a late George IV 18ct gold glazed hair and black enamel ring with floral embossed sides and grooved band, together with a mid Victorian 9ct gold engraved locket ring. Hallmarks for London, 1829 and Birmingham, 1868. Total weight 4.6gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Black enamel with noticeable chip. Glass to hair panel is cracked. Locket ring is deficient woven hair to the band and inside of locket. Ring size M 1/2 and J 1/2. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
