Condition:

The floor lamp has traces of age and use, like damages of the lacquer and rust. The white lacquer is stained and toned. The lamp was working during a short in-house test. However, Auctionata does not guarantee functionality. The lamp is c. 147 to 200 cm in adjustable height.

Hala Zeist (est. 1932)

Hala Zeist was founded in 1932 as an importer of German lamps, which since the 1930s also manufactured its own lamps and furniture. Due to the economic recession of the 1930s, the manufacturer used simple materials such as tube and iron. After World War II, ambitious designers created simple, affordable and decorative interior products. In the 1950s and 1960s, Hala Zeist was like no other company symbol of economy and modernity. One of the most famous designer and co-founder of Hala Zeist is Hermann Theodor Jan Anthoin Busquet. (tm)
