BIOGRAPHY: De Warville was a French Academic painter who was Classically trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His specialty was peaceful scenes of cows and grazing sheep in calm and airy landscapes with the occasional shepherd or shepherdess. His work can be found in the permanent collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Brooklyn Museum, New York in France his work is found in Museums across museums in Versailles, Nevers, Marseille, Troyes and Dieppe.
