Pre-Columbian, Bahia culture, Ecuador, ca. 500 CE. This is a modled, fine ceramic votive ocarina in the form of a standing figure holding a flute. Much of the original ochre and yellow applied pigments remain. Size: 3.5" W x 9.75" H (8.9 cm x 24.8 cm)
