Description
Pre-Columbian, Inca, Peru, ca. 1500 CE. This is a nice ceremonial dish decorated with black and cream slip and with a bird shaped finial. Like all Inca pottery, this piece is finely made, with just enough decoration to catch the eye but not overwhelm the function. Size: 7" L x 5" W (17.8 cm x 12.7 cm).
