Description
A pair of late 19th century pique tortoiseshell ear pendants. Each designed as a tortoiseshell amphora, with bi-colour, floral and geometric pique inlay, suspended from a hook fitting. Length 6.2cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Replacement fittings. One of the amphora is cracked across both handles and the neck, re-glued, glue visible. Tortoiseshell shows slight blooming. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
