A late 19th century 9ct gold diamond and gem-set bangle. The marquise-shape panel with replacement red-gem and diamond accent stars, within a cannetille surround, to the later replacement 9ct gold hinged reverse. Hallmarks for London, 2015. Inner diameter of bangle 6cms. Weight 11.9gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Red-gem bright even red with strong saturation and fair clarity.

Diamonds fairly well matched.

Significant inclusions affect the passage of light through the stones.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
