Hopi pueblo "Zuni Spotted Corn" kachina doll, Cottonwood, detailed painting. The Hopi will dress as kachinas from other pueblos in their dances for a variety of reasons, including the sharing of a kachina's power, and mimicking behavioral aspects of another pueblo groups. From a Globe, Arizona collection assembled in the 1950's. Origin: Native American / American Indian / Southwest. Dimensions: 9.25 in. tall x 4.75 in. wide.
