1 page typed note, signed. 9.5x19 cm (3¾x7½") With a 19x10 cm (7½x4") photograph of London, inscribed.
The note reads in part: "My dear Mrs. Wishaar: Please find herewith photograph requested, and please pardon this brief note be[cause] I am rushed to death these days, working every moment in order to wind up my work befor[e I] go East..." The photograph, a full view of London in a jacket and cap, is inscribed "Cordially yours, Jack London."
Condition
Small area of paper fill at the left edge, affecting two words, some wear and soiling, address and date on a small piece affixed to the top; photograph chipped at edges, signature slightly affected, small piece lacking at top; very good.
