Description
A selection of three mid to late Victorian 15ct gold gem-set rings. To include a turquoise line ring with scrolling foliate engraved band, a split pearl and ruby ring, together with a turquoise and split pearl stepped line ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1867 and 1870 and Chester, 1885. Weight 6.2gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Gems deficient to each ring. Split pearls show wear and moderate discolouration, two split pearls deficient. Turquoise vary from medium blue to mottled green, two turquoise deficient. Rubies are a well matched slightly purplish, pinkish red hue, moderate abrasions. Stones in fair to good condition with mostly minor abrasions. Ring size K 1/2, N 1/2 and O 1/2.
