H Winthrop Peirce , American, active Massachusetts, 1850 - 1935, a landscape with mother, daughter and white cow, oil on canvas, signed and inscribed on frame center. VAT1001.
NOTE: Studied in the Boston Museum of fine Arts, under Otto Grundmann and Dr. William Rimmer, 1877-1878, and in Paris under W.A. Bouguereau and Tony Robert Fleury, 1881-1882. First exhibited at the Salon, Paris. Member of Boston Art Club, the Boston Paint and Clay Club, and the Boston Watercolor Society(VAT1001)(TC)
Measurements: 18 x 26, framed 24 x 32
Condition: relined, craquelure
