ULTRA RARE Vintage 1950's Tin Lithographed Friction and Battery Operated SUPER SONIC JETLINER Airplane SR-649, made in Japan, made exclusively for Sears Roebuck. This is an absolutely amazing plane that features flashing jet engines with real jet sound. There is a switch on the body of the plane that slides and when operated, the door opens and a stewardess appears, while the passengers fill the plane. Has twin clear plastic cockpits with 4 pilot heads. It also comes with the original rolling gangway. Beautiful bright tin lithography. Plane is a bright orange color and measures 24-3/4" long with a 19" wingspan. Very little playwear. Has a couple little dents on the right jet section. Overall excellent condition. Comes in the original box which has a little shelfwear and a 3" tear along the front edge of the box.
