Description
An Egyptian bicolor faience ushabti, 3rd Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty, c. 1080 – 945 BC, mummiform, wearing tripartite headdress with head band, arms folded across chest, hands clutching hoes, back at center of back, vertical column of hieroglyphic text down the front of the legs. A pleasing example with good style and nice light blue color with black detailing. H: 3 2/5 in (8.7cm). Ex-George W. Roberts collection, West Chester, PA.
