Description
John Jelfs (British, b. 1946- ) for Cotswold Pottery (British, founded 1973). Collection of two ceramic items comprising of a paneled table vase with undulating white and black abstract decoration with red to purple glaze; and a circular charger with modern blue and pink undulating lines woven and overlapping on light blue speckled ground. Each with impressed stamp for studio "BOURTON-ON-THE WATER", vase with additional "JJ" stamp. Charger diameter approximately 14". Vase approximate height 11.5". Provenance: The Craftsmen Potters Association of Great Britain, London, whereby acquired by the Estate of Mr. Joseph Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia. Copies of purchase receipts available upon request.
Condition
All pieces in overall very good condition. No damage noted or restoration to any pieces.
