NEW ENGLAND COUNTRY FEDERAL MIXED-WOOD CANDLESTAND, the rectangular fixed top over a reverse-tapered cylindrical standard raised on a tripodal base having peaked cabriole legs, old surface with warm color, remnants of red wash. Together with a maple/birch example having circular fixed top over baluster standard raised on tripodal base with cabriole legs, old refinished surface with mellow color. Two pieces total. First quarter 19th century. 27 1/2" H, 20" x 14 7/8" top.
