CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN TEAPOT AND CREAMER, pear-shaped teapot with molded spout and handle with red and gold design around shoulder and creating two frames on either side with a polychrome scene of a man and woman with additional floral sprays, similar colors and decoration on either side of creamer in helmet shape with a molded handle. Unmarked. Likely 18th century. Teapot 6" H, and creamer 4 1/2" H.
Very good condition. Several flakes on rim, handle, and foot rim of creamer, flange of lid has chips and both flange and rim have several flakes, rim of teapot has several minor flakes, gilding on handle, knob, and spout nearly worn off from use.
