Cobalt porcelain case with square base having oval panels of women with playful putti, gilt and enamel filigree trim, 4 turned columns with putti panels and a domical top; has brass trim with turned finials and ball feet. Timepiece is contained within a gilt brass sphere hanging below the dome, has a 2.25 in. porcelain dial signed “L. Leroy & Co., Paris” with black hour numbers, pierced trefoil hands; round brass spring driven time only movement with platform lever escapement stamped “Made in France, 3991”. In good condition, porcelain is unsigned with no chips, hairlines or damages, has some green corrosion to the brass, movement not running. 14.75 in. high x 6.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
