A GERMAN HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE OF A MAIDEN BEAUTY, TITLED "SEHNSUCHT," SIGNED "Wagner," IMPRESSED NUMBERS 107, LATE 19TH/ EARLY 20TH CENTURY, of rectangular form and centering a love smitten maiden with long wavy chestnut brown hair, wearing a pink floral garland and a rose colored gown, while standing amidst neoclassical architecture and gazing with a dreamy longing expression, signed lower right, reversing to impressed numbers and illegible maker's mark, red ink inscription, "Sehnsucht / Bisson," within an elaborate gilt wood frame. Height: 6" Width: 4"
Condition
