AN AFRICAN TRIBAL WIREHAIR MOUNTED CARVED WOOD BUST OF A FEMALE, SECOND QUARTER 20TH CENTURY, with a high forehead centering scarification details, before stylized metal wirehair and a shaped rectangular carved wood headdress, over high arched eyebrows and closed eyes flanking a small nose above protruding full lips, on a cylindrical neck enclosed by graduated wrought iron rings, raised on a block form base. Height: 22" Provenance: Selden African and Oceanic collection.
