A VINTAGE AMERICAN STERLING SILVER SALVER, BY THEODORE B. STARR, MARKED, NUMBERED "2218," NEW YORK, NEW YORK, 1900-1924, in the Rococo Revival taste and of serpentine square form with beaded trim continuing to stylized shell and cabochon shield corner pendants, above a conforming flat well reversing to an underside stamped, "STERLING / THEODORE B. STARR / 2218," and a profile armorial griffin with circular shield centering an "S," 8" square, total approximate weight: 11.490 troy oz.
