A CHINESE ARCHAISTIC STYLE TWO HANDLED BRONZE LI-CENSER, LATE QING DYNASTY, CIRCA 1900, of shaped quatre foil form and a flat rim flanked by pierced rectangular handles, above conforming lobed sides centering a shallow relief band of stylized taotie masks on a leiwen detailed ground with fretwork trim, raised on monopodiae cast legs enclosing a square form impressed stamp with archaistic style four character marks, as well as remnants of an applied Chinese antique export molded seal, buff dark blackish green patina. Good condition, with scattered green and white surface oxidation spots, surface dust /dirt buildup throughout, normal marks and small scratches, interior of legs revealing remnants of pink molding terra cotta.
