Roman Empire, minted at Carthage, 298 to 299 CE. Large bronze follis of Constantine I as Caesar. Obverse portrait of Constantine with CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, his head laureate r. Reverse: SALVIS AVGG ET CAESS FEL KART, G (“Carthage is happy as long as the emperors and Caesars are safe, workshop 3”), Carthage standing, holding fruits in both hands. 28mm, 8.9 grams.
