PROVENANCE: It has been brought to our attention since our last auction that this fixture once hung in Houbigant Chardin, Perfume House in the Rue St Honore, Paris, this and another sold last month, were acquired by our consignors from an associate directly associated with its removal from Houbigant Chardin at a time of renovation and redecoration. Directly from a second generation collection and estate inventory of distinguished world-wide collectors, travelers and esteemed New England Antique Dealers from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

All pieces have been cleaned and conserved and any noted areas of flaking have been retarded. 1.) Areas of in-painting and old flaking to the panel. All five are housed in contemporary frames.
