This is an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS VINTAGE PENDANT NECKLACE that was made during the 1940s - 1950s from 14K YELLOW GOLD, including the FINELY WOVEN CHAIN. This STATEMENT PIECE ORIGINATES from GERMANY and it is SIGNED FBM on the clasp and stamped 585 on the bale and clasp. The front of the pendant is set with 1 NATURAL SMOKEY QUARTZ that weighs approx. A WHOPPING 50 CARATS! This quartz measures 30 x 23 mm and is an EMERALD CUT of fine quality. The back of the pendant is EXQUISITELY DETAILED with FLOWERS in PINK GOLD and is set with following stones: 1 bezel-set EUROPEAN CUT DIAMOND with LIGHT CHAMPAGNE COLOR and SI clarity that weighs approx. .22 ct. 1 bezel-set NATURAL LIGHT GREEN TOURMALINE that is a FACETED ROUND SHAPE weighing approx. .50 ct. 1 bezel-set NATURAL AMETHYST that is a FACETED OVAL SHAPE weighing approx. .80 ct. 1 bezel-set NATURAL KUNZITE that is a FACETED SQUARE SHAPE weighing approx. .10 ct. 2 bead-set GRAY ROSE CUT DIAMONDS and 1 bead-set OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND that weigh .06 ctw in total. 2 small NATURAL PEARLS. There should be 3, but one is missing. I may be able to replace it, but it is something that is not readily apparent. This pendant is LARGE, THICK, HEAVY and FABULOUS FABULOUS...SO UNIQUE! The pendant alone measures 2"? long, including the bale, and 1-7/16"? long, not including the bale. It measures 1-13/16"? wide and it is 15.8 mm thick. The chain measures 16.25"? long by 2.55 mm wide and it has a lobster claw clasp. You can wear the necklace with either side facing up, but there is a 585 stamp on the bale when the flower side is facing up. The total weight is 44.4 grams.
