It comes with an original postcard showing the "Wee Kirk o' the Heather" a replica of the original church in Glencairn, Annie Laurie's Church 1310-1805, which was used to replicate this wooden art piece.
History: Wee Kirk o' the Heather, Replica of Glencain, Annie Laurie's Church. The romantic story of Annie Laurie is recalled by this tiny church. A faithful reproduction of the one Annie Laurie attended throughout her life 1682-1764. The original church was erected in 1310 and destroyed in 1805.
