Vases: The interior and exterior of each spout is slightly darkened. There are areas of faded gilt decoration throughout each body. The undersides of each vase sustain scuffs and darkening as a result of age and use. Roof Tile: There is a 4" area of tile that has broken off on the back of the piece. There is also a 2.5" piece that is missing towards the front edge. Overall, there are a number of chips and scuffs throughout the piece. Birds: One bird sustains a 1/4" chip to its beak as well as a number of cracks and chips to the glaze around its base. The second bird sustains approximately ten chips to the glaze throughout as well as scuffs and minor chips around its base.
