RUSSIAN TORAH POINTERS
Lot of two items, a pair of Russian Torah pointers, one 10 " long, bearing a rabbinical figure at the top, surrounded by a Star of David. The handle bears a red cabochon stone, which itself is surrounded by a floral motif, and the shaft is encircled by silver roping. The second is 12 3/4" long, with a standing lion at the top. The handle bears a black cabochon stone with silver floral motifs adjacent, and the shaft is encircled with silver roping, and bears a silver rope Star of David. Both items bear miniature human hands with extended index fingers at the tip, to guide the reader. Both bear ersatz hallmarks, but remain attractive pieces. Very good.
