Description
A large Early Bronze Age spouted bowl, Holy Land, c. 3000 BC, decorated with bands of criss-crossing lines, and a netting pattern around the spout. The spout emerges from the large rounded body and has a flaring rim, and the bowl tapers down to a small, rounded base. A small suspension hole sits at the back of the vessel. H (at top of spout): 6 1/2 in (16.7cm), D (around mouth opening): 6 1/4 in (15.9cm). Ex New York private collection.
