Description
DI-17C DIVIDED PRESSED OPEN SALT, unlisted deep cobalt blue, flat rim, rectangular form. Like DI-17a except the center divider is flat and only extends above the rim 1/16 in. Probably extremely rare. Possibly New England area. 1830-1850. 1 5/8" H, 2 1/8" x 3 1/4 ".

Provenance: From a West Coast private collection.
Near proof, small bruise to top of divider, bruise to outer edge of two upper corners, probably as made, two minor flakes under the base.
