Description
A late Victorian 15ct gold diamond brooch and an early 20th century 18ct gold diamond band ring. The brooch designed as a graduated old-cut diamond star line within a bead and foliate surround, the ring designed as a colourless gem inset to the tapered band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1896 and 1917. Length 5.1cms. Total weight 7.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds fairly bright. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
