Max Ehlert (1904-1979) was a German photojournalist for Spiegel magazine from 1947-1964 and produced many title stories in this time. After 1964 he was still an enthusiastic photographer with his M3 outfit which is offered in this sale. It contains a Leica single stroke M3 body no.1022313 (condition B-, overhauled by Leica-Meister in Hamburg), M39 Summitar 2/5cm no.588618 (late, original coated wartime lens) with M-adapter), M3 Summicron 2/35mm no.1745944 (used B- condition, good lenses), Hektor 4.5/13.5cm no.1385533 (B/C cond), Elmarit 2.8/90mm black no.2373904 (C cond. hood, cap, keeper), filter, black Leica-Meter MR-4 - with a documentary about the photographer, 1961, no. 1022313
