This butterfly shaped lacquer snuff bottle is unique in its shape and exquisite craftsmanship. The front is decorated with mother of pearl pieces into a scene of birds with flowers, while the other is decorated into a landscape scene with figures and ancient buildings. The mother of pearl pieces used to complete the patterns are incredibly small, yet crafted finely with precision and grace. H including cap: 6cm. Width:6.2cm. 铜胎朱漆嵌金银螺钿人物花鸟纹蝶型鼻烟壶。嵌螺钿工艺兴盛于明清时期，此件作品采用了软螺工艺手法于壶身两面表现了人物亭台、花鸟等纹饰图案。一面表现了远处高山流水、风景如画，山中隐现一座楼阁，近处一人物身着锦服似一书生，步履匆匆，似游子归乡心切；另一面表现绽放的牡丹丛丛，溢彩芬芳，引雀引凤。整体用螺钿和金银构造出绝妙的视觉搭配，壶侧均以金银螺钿的几何、花卉图样点缀装饰，更显华光溢彩。器型小口直颈，壶身整体为蝴蝶造型，棱角颇多，工艺繁复，更显匠心独运之处。此器造型别致，工艺精巧复杂，制作不惜工本，保存完好，实为同时期的经典之作。
