Description

Description: Circa 1880s Cabinet Card Photograph of Circus Sideshow Performer by Eisenmann of Bowery, New York. Identified in printed text on bottom face of the mount card; "Landon Middlecoff, Height 7 feet 6 inches. Age 19". Depicted is the tall man in his performance costume. He is posed next to his wife, Helen. A brief on line research reveals that Middlecoff appeared with W. W. Cole's Circus and was also known as "The Kentucky Giant Boy".
Dimensions: Approximate card size is 4-1/4 x 6-1/2 inches.

Condition: light surface soiling, occasional dings, scuffs, and edge bumps.
