Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Veracruz, ca. 500 to 700 CE. An adorable child's toy in the form of a "fierce" jaguar." Legs with circular holes once having wheels attached, extended tail, which acts as the mouthpiece for the whistle which emerges from its lower back. Whistle functions perfectly! Size: 5.625" L x 3.375" H (14.3 cm x 8.6 cm)
