Framed in very nice Arts & Crafts style wood frame. Signed by the artist lower right. Gustave Baumann was born in Germany in 1881 and moved with his family to the U.S. as a young boy. While in his teens, Baumann began taking classes at the Art Institute of Chicago, and followed these studies with a year in Germany, where he quickly mastered the art of color woodblock prints.
