Description
A Group of Four 19th Century Staffordshire Pottery Figures. Depicting 'Richard Cobden', 'Admiral Sir Charles Napier', 'John Milton', and 'Captain James Cook'
Condition
All figures in the group have a fine craquelure to the glaze and age appropriate minor chipping to the pigment. The tip of the object in John Milton's left hand has sustained a small nick to the porcelain. Napier has a small hairline crack at the back of the neck with a few chips of porcelain, but it does not appear as if the crack goes all the way through the front. There are no apparent restorations to this area.
*In all cases, prospective buyers are responsible for determining the physical condition of lots, as there are no returns based on condition. The printed conditions in the catalog entry are based on opinion only and are provided for guidance only, without legal obligation. The absence of condition reports in the catalog entry does not indicate that the item is in perfect condition.
