Description
The pattern was designed in 1915 by Johan Rohde (1856-1950), in Copenhagen, Denmark. Before becoming a designer for the studio, Johan Rohde was impressed by the craftsmanship of Georg Jensen. Their first collaboration dates from 1904, when Rohde commissioned Georg Jensen to make some objects for his own personal use. This collaboration was a great success for both sides. This sterling silver set includes: (2) Serving Spoons 22.6 cm / 8.88", (2) Serving Forks 22.6 cm / 8.88" weighing 412 grams. (12) Fish Forks 16.5 cm / 6 1/2" weighing 618 grams. (12) Small Teaspoon 12.9 cm / 5 1/4" weighing 246 grams. (12) Medium Teaspoon 14.6 cm / 5 3/4" weighing 340 grams. (12) Dinner Fork 18.9 cm / 7 1/2" weighing 734 grams. (12) Dinner Spoons 19.1 cm / 7 1/2" weighing 736 grams. (12) Small Handle Dinner Knife 23.1 cm / 9 1/4" weighing 1146 grams. (12) Butter Knives 15.2 cm / 6" weighing 362 grams. (1) Cold Cut Fork 11 cm / 4 1/2", (1) Pickle Fork 6", (1) Demitasse Spoon 4 1/4" weighing 50 grams. Total Weight 4644 including knives. This set is not Monogrammed. Comes in Wooden Box.
