Comprised of: 1) Heavy German enlisted cavalry sabre with a 31” blade. Blade stamped “Solingen” and “S&K” on the other side. Brass three bar knuckle guard, backstrap and pommel, wrapped wire wood grip. Scabbard with two hanging rings and drag. Blade and scabbard have surface rust, leather missing on the grips. 2) An Eastern sabre has a 29” blade with one fuller, knuckle guard with three counter guards, horn grip. French blade marked “Leori”. Blade has black and brown spots. 3) A short sabre has a 22” blade with one fuller. Iron five bar knuckle guard with one piece wood grip. Blade has several nicks and surface rust. 4) An excavated cavalry sabre with a brass three knuckle guard bar hilt and lion heads pommel. Grip is missing. Origin and location dug unknown. Condition (Good).
