A Mae West Pair of Platform Heels, Circa 1930s. Beige leather, rounded toe, t-strap with tiny beige Bakelite button closure, label in right shoe reads "I. Miller / Beautiful Shoes / Made in New York / U.S.A" with further handwritten annotation reading "4 1/2D / 2845 / 02650," label in left shoe reads in part "I. Miller Sons, Inc. / New York," 6" heel, size 4 1/2D (as noted above) but they fit like a modern-day 5 Narrow; included with a signed 'Letter of Provenance' from John West, Mae's nephew. (Please note these shoes are in only marginal condition due to wear and age.)
