Description
A MONUMENTAL FABERGE SILVER VASE St. Petersburg, circa 1908. The large and impressive double-handled vase of classical Grecian form with acanthus border on base, ribbed central node and lower mid section. The upper section with beaded band of laurel leaves and gadrooned rim supporting two attractive scroll handles. Marked K. Faberge in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 standard and St. Petersburg circa 1908, with Faberge workmasters mark of Alexander Wakeva, and with scratched inventory number 19260. Height 16.25 inches (41.3 cm). Total weight 116.55 troy ounces. Estimate $20,000-$30,000
