Description
René Lalique (French, 1860-1945), circa 1932. An opalescent and colorless Oeillets or Carnation glass coupe, model number 422, the splayed round low bowl with an eight petaled flower radiating out from center linked along top edge near rim by clusters of opalescent foliage. Underside with etched mark "R. LALIQUE / FRANCE" readable from top of bowl. Approximate diameter 14.125", height 2.375". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
Condition
Typical shelf wear to base. Some scratching to bottom and interior of bowl. Several interior bubbles from manufacture. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
