Iran, Seljuk, ca. 12th century CE. Very attractive and rare pottery ewer with deep turquoise blue glaze. Wheel-thrown body with long neck and human head at top with strap handle behind. Size: 9.75" H (24.8 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Paul and Louise Bernheimer, Cambridge, MA and Laguna Woods, CA, acquired before 1980.
