PAIR OF BRITISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAITS, pencil on paper (each), each depicting a seated gentleman wearing stovepipe hat, one example with sitter before an open horse stall, no signature(s) located. Each housed under glass in a carved and molded ebonized frame with gilt embellishment. 19th century. Each 4 3/8" x 3 7/8" sight, 6 1/2" x 6" OA.
Each with light even toning, one with minor loss, other with minor surface abrasions to sitter's face. Frames with minor wear. Not examined out of frames.
