Description
MY FAIR LADY (Warner Brothers, 1964) "The rain in spain stays mainly in the plain." Original 1964 vintage Lobby Card #2 (11" x 14") for George Cukor's classic tale (adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion) of a stuffy phonetics professor (Rex Harrison) who wagers he can transform a cockney flower girl (Hepburn) into a respectable and very proper lady of society. MY FAIR LADY won Best Picture, Best Director and Rex Harrison won a Best Actor Academy Award for his tutorial efforts as Professor Henry Higgins. This original Lobby Card #2 displays two pin-holes in the background on either side of Rex Harrison's head, but otherwise this very desirable Lobby Card #2 features Audrey Hepburn dressed "to the nines" and a tuxedoed Rex Harrison gazing into one another's eyes as they dance in one of the landmark moments from this classic film. Featuring rich color, this romantic Lobby Card #2 is overall in Fine to Very Fine Condition.
