Description
DESCRIPTION: A double door Empire period, circa 1840-50, painted softwood corner cupboard of the type often attributed to the Rupp family of Hanover (Pennsylvania). The form consisting of a softwood double door, double drawer base with flanking half spindles resting on ball feet and surmounted by a double six-light glazed top with elaborate molding. The entire case with elaborate flame grain decoration. MEASUREMENTS: 57" x 30" x 85-1/4" high. CONDITION: Wear as expected with age and use. Contents not included.
