Italian (possibly Venetian), first half 20th century. An Italian gilt wood, gesso and polychrome architectural wall hanging or applique depicting a spray or bouquet of gilt flowers including roses, daffodils and sunflowers, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 40.5" x 29.5".

Scattered losses to gilt and polychrome, commensurate with age. Repaired fractures to four foliate arms, not inconsistent with age and style of piece. One untreated loss to foliate arm tip. Several flower elements slightly articulating, recommend securing. No other apparent losses or repairs.
