Description
An Edwardian 18ct gold five-stone diamond ring. Designed as a graduated old-cut diamond line, with grooved shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct, principal diamond estimated 0.35ct, I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmimgham, 1901. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 2.8gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. One edge diamond with dark inclusions visble with magnification. Diamonds bright. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Principal diamond with chip to girdle. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
