A circa 1900 Sevres cobalt ground porcelain box of circular form with bronze mounts. The domed lid painted with a scene of lovers in 18th century dress on a veranda, artist signed M. Gaillou, the scene entirely hand painted without decal or transfer, the cobalt ground decorated with gold enamel florals and rococo swirls, polychrome floral sprays inside the lid and box interior. Measures 6 x 11 x 9 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
