Item Details

Description

Having simply deep bowl vessel, raised on a footed base below a dome lid supported lotus bud finial. The exterior adorned with engraving of eight Buddhist emblems amidst flower foliage between the characterizing carved deep-red tourmaline mounted on flower petals shaped crown. Showing extensive trace of gilt. Elegantly displayed on a carved hardwood stand.

Mark on base, engraved six seal script -ZhuanShu- characters enclosed within square key fret border, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.

Dimension: 7" Diam , weight 33.43 troy ounces.

Provenance: Private colection estate, From an East 20th St, Manhattan Apartment. NY -USA
